And this is the picture to inspire us (...soooo cute!!!):

I made a shaped card this time, I cut the green cardstock with a big circle die and I used an embossing folder for the background. WIth a darker cardstock I made a little tag for the sentiment (by Create with TLC) and I used yello gingham ribbon for the tag and I made a bow.

Women's day card

Hello! Thanks for visiting.

I forgot to upload a card I made for my teacher for Women's day. Here where we live, Women's day is a very special day, it's a holiday to start with :) Every woman, (single, married, young, old) is celebrated, it's like Mother's day but for every female!!! I did this card for my teacher:

I made the background using acuarelle paints. Then I used a rubber stamp with Memento tuxedo black ink pad. To glue it I used double side fomi tape. My teacher was very happy to receive it (with a box of chocolates) and I was happy she liked it!!!

PS: I had to do it twice, because first time, the stamp didn't print well and only showed half of the heart... I was very upset, the first background was so beautiful, anyways, next day I repeat everything and this time the stamp worked well :)

Bright and Cheery challenge at Catch the Bug blog

Hello!
Today I want to show you a card I made as GDT for Catch the Bug Challenge this week. The theme is BRIGHT AND CHEERY. And this is my card:

I colored Edward Elephant - Flower with alcohol based markers (Kuretake) and cut it with an oval scallop die (Sizzix), then I distressed the borders with a green ink pad.

I choose green and yellow combo as base for my project. I made my own background with acuarelle paints... I love this technique. I just discovered it a few weeks ago and I am preparing a few more backgrounds :)

The sentiments (Birthday Wishes) is from a clear stamp set, I used a glue pad for embossing and golden powder to do it. I am learning to use the embossing powders with stamps. I used green and yellow ribbon, made a double bow to embellish the card.

I hope you like my card and come to play with us at Catch the Bug this week.
